Mahila Prerana Evam Utthan Samiti is a non-profit organization dedicated to women's empowerment and community development in the Kumaon region of Uttarakhand. Founded in 1995 and headquartered in Almora (Registration No. UK0620822021005547, we work at the grassroots level to uplift women and preserve the cultural heritage of the Himalayas.

Under the leadership of Laxmi, our organization focuses on gender equality, sustainable livelihoods, and environmental conservation. We operate in remote areas of Almora and Pithoragarh districts, implementing programs that create lasting impact and foster self-reliance among rural communities.
